Dope-eyed teens from Copenhagen. Saw them when they were touring with Fucked Up in May but they said that the promoter hadn't given them any food when we spoke to them and I think they ran out of money or something and had to go home before the end of the tour. I'm sure a bunch of other people would have been happy to take them home and feed 'em up. Dark days when a promoter can't even bang up a chilli. Sucks. They were really good. If they come back, invite them for dinner.

WOODERSON

These sheffield boys are great. not as great as Chinese boys, but they do rock. They played the Brudenell the other day and me and heather had the pleasurable experience to catch them, Ive seen them a few times and they always provide, they were ace! New songs and a new feel to them, a few twinges of sonic youth etc etc.  They pushed a few copys of their new E.P into our hands as they were setting up to play. First time i heard it i had to listen to again straight away. ITS THAT GOOD!

When I was younger there were always older layabout kids that used to hang out with us and I remember always thinking why did they wanna do that? 

Now I'm back home for a while I find myself staring longingly at all the scruffbag kids feeling kind of left out, before remembering they're about 10 years younger than me. I don't know if that's creepy or what.

BIRD BLOBS

I used to know a guy who: Wore a Bird Blobs T-Shirt nearly every day. 

I think they fizzled out in 2006ish. If he's still wearing it, it's probably dissolving too by now.
